Kevin Burke, Director of Quality and Care Home Operations
Kevin Burke, Director of Care Homes and Dementia Services

Our Safety & Compliance team at Guild Care audits our residential care homes and conducts mock inspections, in line with the latest CQC framework, to ensure that our services are safe, responsive, effective, caring, and well-led.

The team collected individual and group feedback from residents at Haviland House, their relatives and visitors and members of staff, receiving many positive responses about the care and leadership provided.

Our inspection team also observed the care and support offered to individual residents and reviewed record-keeping and care pathways to ensure everything was correct and thorough.

Following a very detailed inspection, Haviland House received a ‘Good’ rating across all key questions and quality statements.

We look forward to CQC’s prompt return to restore a rating that accurately reflects the experiences of our residents and their families.
